Citizen had the chance to be given means of expressing themselves with a new Bubble Notification System that let them display emoticons above their heads. At some point in the future, the small icon may increase to a whole text prompt and even incite the player to interact with the citizen, but for now it's working as an activity indicator.

The job system used for work has been leveraged for afternoon leisure activities. Citizen will elect a leisure building around them, and get a leisure activity from that building. Fort instance, the tavern's main activity is to go there and drink. Leisure buildings will have one or more activities for citizen to do there.

The following video shows those systems in action:

  • 3 citizens are spawned next to a house.
  • the first 2 citizens settles in the home and go work at the market
  • the last citizen cannot settle in the home nor in another one, so it's displays its lack of home and lingers in place
  • by noon the 2 workers stop leave the market and go have fun in taverns nearby
  • at the end of the day, they go back home and rest





There are quite a few more buildings and activities meant to go in, but now that the logic is implemented I'm off to working on the next part of the day in order to close this main loop.
